Inky the former stray American Pit Bull Terrier eats a raw 3# beef heart. She's been on a raw meat/bone/prey model diet since I took her in and it's healed up her mange and skin issues, kept her in good weight condition (training treats cause her to gain quickly) and removed the tartar build up from her teeth. Normally she eats about a pound of raw meat daily, but the heart often has a tough outer part so I gave the entire muscle. She enjoys licking off the water and blood first, yum!
